Alex Shelton

Alex Shelton is a technology talent and go-to-market advisor with over 20 years of global experience partnering with technology vendors to scale through strategic talent solutions. Based in Dubai and having spent the past 18 years in the UAE, Alex works at the intersection of talent, strategy, and growth building the teams that help tech businesses win markets. Over the years, he has built a reputation as one of the most trusted talent advisors to technology vendors across the Middle East. 

As a hands-on Co-Founder of Hally, Alex is directly involved in both strategy and execution. He partners closely with founders, CROs, and leadership teams to hire for GTM-critical roles across sales, marketing, pre-sales, customer success, engineering, and product. His approach is grounded in a deep understanding of people, a genuine commitment to partnership, and a relentless focus on delivery. Alex brings deep experience supporting vendors through critical growth moments—from market entry and regional expansion to revenue acceleration. 

Alex began his career at just 18 with Networkers International, quickly rising through the ranks before stepping into senior corporate talent leadership. He went on to lead Talent Acquisition for Nokia’s Emerging Region, then launched, built, and scaled Emerald Technology’s international businesses across the Middle East and Asia. That journey cemented his decision to co-found Hally. As an original and active member of the Pavilion Middle East Chapter, Alex is deeply embedded in the region’s go-to-market and revenue leadership community. 

With a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a people-first approach, Alex is active as an investor and mentor, backing and mentoring a diverse range of forward-thinking businesses and individuals. Outside of work, he is a fitness fanatic who values family, friends, and travel—experiences that continue to shape his global perspective. 

Stuart Sutton

Stuart is a technology talent and go-to-market specialist with over a decade of experience advising high-growth software vendors on how to build and scale world-class teams. He has developed a strong reputation in EMEA for partnering with founders and leadership teams to deliver bespoke talent solutions across GTM-critical functions, supporting organisations from early-stage start-ups through to global enterprises. 

As Co-Founder of Hally, Stuart plays a hands-on role in shaping both the strategic direction and day-to-day delivery of the business. Supporting GTM leaders as they scale their commercial organisations, he has a strong network of repeat customers who regularly lean on his market expertise and guidance when it comes to finding best-in-class talent. 

Prior to launching Hally in 2019, Stuart spent nearly seven years working in the Middle East, including an opportunity to work directly with Alex at another headhunting organisation and build a business across the MEA region. It was during this time that the idea for Hally was formed, and following a short career break the company was established in both UK and UAE locations. Over 6 years it has evolved into a trusted technology talent brand, known for its integrity, precision, and genuinely consultative approach. 

Outside of work, Stuart is a dedicated father of three and an avid endurance athlete. He regularly trains for marathon and ultra-distance trail marathons around the world, bringing the same resilience, focus, and long-term thinking from endurance sport into how he builds teams, relationships and businesses. 

Jon Shelton

Jon Shelton is a strategic operations leader with over 15 years of experience driving organisational effectiveness and operational excellence. Based in Dubai and deeply connected to the growth of technology and talent-focused businesses, Jon plays a crucial role at Hally Solutions ensuring the firm’s internal engine runs seamlessly and supports scalable growth across EMEA and APAC.  

Since joining Hally as the company’s first hire in 2020, Jon has built and led the operational backbone of the business. As Director of Operations, he oversees and integrates all non-sales functions including operations, finance, marketing, contracts and HR. His work enables the Hally team to deliver consistently high-quality outcomes for both clients and candidates, while maintaining agile and effective internal processes. Jon’s operational leadership and commitment to continuous improvement have been central to Hally’s expansion from a start-up into a trusted partner for technology vendors around the world.  

Jon’s career spans organisational development and operational management across diverse sectors. Known for his analytical mindset, process-driven approach and people-centred leadership, he focuses on creating systems that empower teams, improve efficiency and support sustainable business growth. Prior to Hally Solutions, Jon’s work strengthened organisational capabilities and delivered measurable impact in operations and business support roles over more than a decade.
